Product Description A1 Two Color Double Side Offset Book Printing Folio Perfector 1.Application HSS1040 is the A1 size single color double sided offset printing machine, used for book printing. The machine can be equipped with water based dampening or alcohol dampening system. Fountain solution is indispensable in offset printing. Its main function is to establish a hydrophilic layer on the non-image part of the printing plate and to supplement the hydrophilic layer worn during the printing process, so as to ensure that the non-image part is not covered by ink during printing. The alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) in the alcohol fountain solution can reduce the surface tension of the fountain solution, which is conducive to its expansion in the hydrophilic part of the printing plate. It can also increase the viscosity of the fountain solution, which is conducive to its transmission on the rubber roller. It is generally believed that alcohol fountain solution is highly efficient, and the dots of alcohol-fountained printing are much better than water-fountained printing.
