Product Description The spoke-type sensor adopts a cross-cutting beam structure. The elastic body undergoes shear deformation when subjected to force, and this deformation is converted into an electrical signal by the strain gauges attached to the spokes (typical sensitivity: 2.0 ± 10% mV/V). This design offers three major advantages:Resistance to bias load: Even if the load distribution is uneven, the spoke structure can still maintain measurement accuracy. For example, the Mik MK101 has a sensitivity of less than 0.1% FS to lateral forces in the vehicle scale test.Overload protection: Most models can withstand 150% of the safe overload (such as the Force Precision LFC-2A), and some industrial-grade products (such as the Fuyi RPCE series) have an ultimate overload of up to 200%.Dynamic response: The new composite material spokes (such as carbon fiber reinforced resin) can increase the natural frequency to above 2kHz, which is suitable for high-speed impact tests.Installation Specifications:Centrifugal Accuracy Control: Use a laser alignment instrument to adjust the sensor axis to be perpendicular to the load direction with a deviation of ≤ 0.1°. Avoid additional bending moments that cause errors.Pre-load: In industrial applications, a pre-load of 10% to 20% of the rated load should be applied to eliminate mechanical gaps (such as the Richite RPCE series recommends 3 pre-loads).Cable Wiring: Use twisted shielded cables and keep them away from power cables. The terminal grounding resistance should be ≤ 4Ω to suppress electromagnetic interference.Daily Maintenance:Cleaning Cycle: Clean the sensor surface with isopropyl alcohol every quarter to prevent oil contamination from affecting the performance of the strain gauge.Calibration Frequency: High-precision equipment (such as laboratory use) should be calibrated once every six months, and industrial equipment once a year.Fault Diagnosis: If the zero drift exceeds 0.5% FS, check if the connection terminals are oxidized; if the linearity decreases, it may be due to the aging of the strain gauge and requires replacement.Features and Applications:This sensor adopts an elastic body structure, featuring a low profile, upper and lower flanges, high precision, good strength, easy installation, good output symmetry, etc.It is widely used in the testing of new energy products; automotive press-fit testing; 3C product testing; various automated assembly in various automated industries; robot testing of force, and other industries that require high-precision weighing and force measurement for testing sensors in industrial systems.
