Product Description Product DescriptionSNS Slope Protection Net - Active Protection Net The active protection system mainly uses various flexible nets, primarily steel wire rope nets or high-strength steel wire grids, to cover or wrap slopes or dangerous rocks in need of protection. Its function is to restrict the weathering, spalling, or damage of rock and soil on the slope surface, as well as the collapse of dangerous rocks (reinforcement effect), or to control the movement of falling rocks within a certain range (enclosure effect). SNS Active Protection System: It adopts high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel wire ropes and steel wire nets, with anti-corrosion treatment not lower than Class AB. Its anti-corrosion service life can generally reach 30-50 years depending on environmental conditions. It is mainly used to prevent and control slopes with instability and potential risk of falling rocks detachment. Crisscross Φ16 and φ12 supporting steel ropes are arranged into a grid in a square pattern (4.5x4.5m or 4.8x4.8m) according to the slope shape, and pre-tensioned with 4x4m active nets using suturing ropes. This allows the system to apply a certain directional pre-tightening pressure on the slope surface, thereby enhancing the stability of high-risk rock masses and preventing falling rocks. Meanwhile, the system does not affect the normal drainage of groundwater and provides a prerequisite for the ecological management of the slope.
