These filters can withstand the intense pouring temperatures up to 1650C.deg (3000F). The specially designed filter shapes work to trap inclusions and reduce turbulence throughout the casting process. As molten metal contacts the filter, the surface fibers develop a sticky fayalite layer, enabling the mesh to efficiently remove micron-sized inclusions from start to finish.
