The base trolley is equipped with a copper slide plate, which is supported by two slide rails fixed on the foundation, and can be moved along the slide rails to realise the operation of changing rolls.Universal rolling mill horizontal roll bearings by four rows of short cylindrical roller bearings to withstand radial rolling force, double row tapered roller bearings to withstand axial force. Vertical roll bearings are double row tapered roller bearings. Universal rolling mill horizontal roll down mechanism is installed in the top of the four rods, roll gap adjustment using a hydraulic motor fast pressure and manual fine-tuning worm gear - worm gear mechanism, so that the rods rotate, in the rods on the positive and negative threads and the bearing seat of the nut under the joint action of the upper and lower rolls to achieve radial symmetry adjustment. The rolls are balanced by butterfly springs in order to eliminate the equipment gap, and the butterfly springs are built into the bearing seat of the mill.The machine frame and its base are fixed by 4 locking cylinders on the slide below, and the form of locking cylinders is hydraulic. Mill roll change: by pushing and pulling the hydraulic cylinder to push the frame to the finishing mill roll change position. Roll drive joint shaft is equipped with a joint shaft bracket, so as to support the joint shaft when changing rolls. The splicing shaft bracket is equipped with rolling bearings, and the splicing shaft rotates in the bearings, and the bearing seat of the bracket is equipped with a balancing device, which allows the splicing shaft to float within a certain range. The splicing shaft bracket and the frame are connected together with hydraulic connecting pins. Splicing shaft bracket can be moved with the mill frame by the push-pull hydraulic cylinder. The gear rotation device adopts the horizontal gear holder-reducer joint structure, i.e. horizontal joint reducer. Each mill frame is driven by a DC motor alone. For easy installation, a steel base is provided under the motor.
