Specialized techniques visualize the transmitted neutron fluence rate, offering details on material distribution, density changes, and defects.The compact high-resolution NCamera works as follows: the neutron source generates 2.45MeV neutrons, which are then slowed and collimated into a parallel thermal neutron beam. This beam penetrates the sample, and the transmitted neutrons are captured as images. The sample is then moved for X-ray imaging.
