Since 2000, some large mines in China have introduced foreign microseismic monitoring products. With the participation of relevant universities and scientific research institutions in China, a lot of research results have been obtained, which have made important contributions to the popularization of microseismic monitoring technology in China. In the last 10 years, the progress of geophysics, especially the application of digital seismic monitoring technology, has provided the necessary technical foundation for the micro-seismic research of small range and weak signal.1,Real - time on-line monitoring and early warning of mine rockburst.Rock burst is also called " rock burst", " mine impact", " rock burst" and so on. Usually when the mechanical system of coal and rock reaches the strength limit, the energy accumulated in the coal and rock mass around the mine roadway and stope is suddenly and sharply released. The generated power throws the coal and rock mass to the roadway, and at the same time, strong noise occurs, causing vibration and damage of coal mass, damage of supports and equipment, collapse and damage of some roadways, casualties and so on. In serious cases, it causes ground vibration and damage of buildings and so on.Research on coal mine rock burst shows that the original stress balance of the original rock is broken due to mining. When the coal and rock mass reach the stress balance again, a large amount of deformation and fracture will occur, and a large amount of microseismic information will be released in the process.  Therefore, according to the characteristics of rock fracture, parameters such as the magnitude, intensity and frequency of microseisms can be taken as critical values for monitoring and early warning of rockburst. When the relevant indexes reach or exceed a certain set critical value, it indicates that the stress in the rock has accumulated to a certain extent and there is a possibility of occurrence of impact hazard, so monitoring and early warning are carried out.2,Real - time on-line monitoring and early warning of mine inrush water prevention and control.The formation and occurrence of mine water disasters have a change process from gestation, development to occurrence, and there are corresponding precursors at different stages in this change process. Microseismic monitoring is to find out the specific parameters of water channel, including space-time location, energy and channel type, and then to carry out advance prediction and early warning of mine water inrush. The microseismic monitoring technology adopts the global optimization positioning technology when monitoring the coal mine water inrush danger, fully considers the different influence factors of the internal and external seismic source positioning, and combines the correction technologies of velocity structure, sensor consistency and the like to realize the high stability and high precision positioning of the microseismic source, optimize the arrangement of the microseismic monitoring network, and carry out real-time monitoring on concealed structures such as large faults, collapse columns and the like. through the three-dimensional display and analysis of the positioning results, the actual measurement parameters such as the activation rule of geological structures, the bottom plate rupture depth, the roof rupture height, the reasonable coal pillar size and the like are obtained, so as to realize the prediction and prediction of the water inrush danger.Numerous studies have shown that microseismic monitoring will be an important technical means for real - time, dynamic and three-dimensional monitoring of mine water inrush, especially in accurately locating disastrous water inrush channels, which will give full play to its unique technical advantages. The principle of the microseismic monitoring system is basically the same as that of the conventional seismic monitoring system, except that it has stronger sensitivity and higher accuracy, and the magnitude of the vibration that can be monitored is smaller and the accuracy is higher.3,Real - time Monitoring of Anti - cross - border Mining in Mines.In the process of mining, underground mines will encounter the phenomenon of private illegal mining, which not only causes the loss and waste of mine resources, but also poses a serious threat to the safety of mine production.  The microseismic monitoring system in Wan Tai monitors and evaluates the phenomenon of illegal mining by setting up a microseismic sensor network on the surface of the stolen mining body, receiving excavation and blasting signals in the process of illegal mining, obtaining the location and magnitude of the illegal mining signals through monitoring, counting the frequency and energy of occurrence, and providing guarantee for the protection of mine resources from infringement and safe production.Based on the observation data of dense temporary seismic network in a certain mining area, we realized the location tracking test research of underground mining face of a coal mine in this area under the strong interference background by means of precise location of microseismic focus.  After microseismic positioning, the horizontal accuracy of the blasting point position is 70 m and the vertical accuracy is ±500m m.  The experimental results show that the dynamic changes of underground mining surface can be monitored more accurately by using high-density digital seismic network data, thus effectively restricting and supervising the cross-border mining of mineral resources and illegal mining of small mines.  At the same time, the test results show that the monitoring control range of seismic network is affected by factors such as explosion source energy, depth of underground mining face, background noise in monitoring area, sensitivity and anti-interference capability of monitoring instruments, etc. The test results can provide effective guidance for the reasonable layout of seismic network in mining areas in the future.Real - time monitoring of underground mining based on focal location technology, in order to solve the problem of effective monitoring of underground mining activities, the real-time monitoring system of underground mining activities based on focal location technology integrates geological science, geotechnical mechanics, electronic information and communication science, mathematics, software technology, engineering and other disciplines, forming a unique set of non - contact, inductive real-time monitoring tools for underground mining activities, which has accumulated valuable experience for further improving the level of scientific and technological ore management.4,Real - time Monitoring of Mine Goaf Stability.Microseismic monitoring technology is a relatively advanced rock mass stability monitoring technology, which can monitor goaf in real time and evaluate its stability in real time, thus ensuring the safety of mine production.A large number of strength and theories have proved that there is a process of initiation, propagation and development of micro cracks and defects in rock mass before rock or rock mass is fractured and unstable, and micro earthquake events will occur in this process.  By collecting and processing microseismic signals, parameters such as the location of microseismic time occurrence, energy magnitude, seismic moment and focal mechanism can be obtained, and parameters such as the original rock field and stress drop in coal and rock lifting can be inverted, and then the stability trend of rock mass can be analyzed in combination with rock mechanics to realize monitoring and early warning of surrounding rock instability.5,Real - time advance detection with excavation of coal seam roadway.Coal roadway accidents have become one of the most important threats to coal mine safety in production.  In order to effectively reduce or even avoid the occurrence of dynamic disasters, the distribution of geological anomalies in front of the heading head should be identified in advance so as to make reasonable planning and targeted treatment in advance. In the process of coal roadway excavation, a lot of seismic wave signals will be generated, which contain rich geological anomaly information such as structure and gas bag.  By taking the seismic echo signal generated by coal cutting machine cutting coal as the seismic source excitation signal for advancing detection along the roadway, a triaxial array microseismic sensor is arranged in the roadway, and the travel time, amplitude, phase and frequency of seismic waves are analyzed through real-time recording of the advancing seismic waveform. Based on the relevant interference theory, advancing detection along the roadway along the roadway in coal seam is carried out in real time.   Advantages: 1 ) Using coal cutter as seismic source, it will not affect the production and tunneling activities;  2 ) The detection is real-time advanced detection, and the data have mutual verification, thus improving the detection accuracy.Microseismic monitoring technology can start from the initial monitoring of rock mass deformation, and track and monitor the progressive damage engineering from the fracture of unit rock mass to the instability of the whole body inside the rock mass, thus greatly promoting the scientificity of monitoring work, and improving the accuracy and advance of engineering and geological disaster prediction.  Microseismic monitoring can comprehensively describe the changes of rock strata in three-dimensional space. Compared with the traditional technology, it has the following advantages: real-time monitoring - finding microseismic events in time and determining their positions, dynamic monitoring - realizing long-term continuous monitoring, and spatial monitoring - realizing three-dimensional spatial positioning within the prediction range.6,Monitoring and Evaluation of Hydraulic Fracturing Effect of Coalbed Methane.At present, hydraulic fracturing technology is widely used in a large number of coal mines, such as Songzao in Chongqing, Huainan in Anhui, Pingdingshan in Henan, Shanxi, etc., but the evaluation methods of hydraulic fracturing effect are limited.  Coal seam is soft rock, joint fissure and has strong non - uniformity, so the microseismic waveform signal generated by coal fracture caused by hydraulic fracturing has unique characteristics.  However, the microseismic monitoring technology realizes the microseismic real-time monitoring and evaluation of the hydraulic fracturing effect of underground coal seams through microseismic signal characteristics, microseismic event identification and microseismic positioning imaging processing of hydraulic fractures.7,Real - time Monitoring of Salt Mining.During the mining process of salt mine, the rock at the top of its cavity will rupture with the mining, and with the passage of time, rock mass instability will occur, i.e. rock collapse, etc.  By arranging a microseismic monitoring system on the surface of the salt mine, the influence of underground mining activities on cavity rock mass can be monitored in real time, including monitoring and early warning of roof rock mass caving and mining roof space position, thus guiding the safe production of salt mine.8,Real - time Monitoring of Slope Stability in Open - pit Mine.In order to fully ensure the safety of slope engineering in open pit mines, grasp the changes in slope stability and slope risk level in time, and give early warning of possible large-area landslide events in advance.  Therefore, by setting up a microseismic monitoring system on the mine slope, the safety of the slope can be analyzed and forewarned in real time.Microseismic monitoring is mainly used to evaluate the generation and development of cracks in slope rocks and the activation of known or unknown geological structures. Most fissures occur in the deep part of the slope, which is difficult to find by conventional monitoring methods. However, microseismic technology, which has the characteristics of three-dimensional overall monitoring, divides potential damage areas according to the time distribution of microseismic events, and can obtain information on the location, scale, inelastic deformation, compression-shear properties, etc. of these fissures. Abnormalities such as inelastic deformation in the deep part of the slope may be several weeks earlier than macroscopic displacement of the slope surface, so microseismic monitoring can realize early warning of slope instability.9,Real - time monitoring of microseismic rockburst in tunnel.For long tunnels under high ground stress, disasters caused by dynamic ground pressure or engineering construction blasting, such as rockburst and large caving, often occur in the construction stage.  These disasters will seriously threaten the safety of construction personnel and equipment and affect the construction progress.Practice shows that there are obvious precursory phenomena before and after the occurrence of dynamic ground pressure disasters such as rock burst. For example, the microseismic energy changes from small to large, with frequent frequency and sound, and becomes calm after a group of dense microseisms.  The microseismic monitoring system in Wan Tai receives rock rupture signals by arranging microseismic sensor networks in the tunnel and on the ground surface. Through monitoring, it obtains the location and magnitude of microseismic occurrence, counts the frequency and energy of microseismic occurrence, monitors and forewarns dynamic ground pressure disasters such as rockburst, and guides the safe excavation of the tunnel.
