Wall mounted ultrasonic flowmeter, as an advanced flow measurement device, has been widely used in many fields due to its unique working principle and significant advantages.1, Working principleThe wall mounted ultrasonic flowmeter is mainly based on the principle of velocity difference method to measure the flow rate of liquid inside a circular tube. The working process is as follows: when the ultrasonic beam propagates in a liquid, the flow of the liquid will cause a small change in propagation time, and the change in propagation time is proportional to the flow velocity of the liquid. In the zero flow state, the time required for two sensors to emit and receive sound waves is exactly the same, which is also a unique technical manifestation of its ability to actually measure zero flow. When the liquid flows, the transmission time of sound waves in the upstream direction is greater than that in the downstream direction. By accurately measuring the difference in the transmission time of sound waves in the upstream and downstream directions, combined with parameters such as the propagation speed of ultrasound in the liquid, a specific algorithm can be used to accurately calculate the flow velocity of the liquid, and then the fluid flow rate can be obtained based on the cross-sectional area of the pipeline. For example, in a pipeline with a diameter of DN100, by measuring the subtle difference in the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the upstream and downstream directions, the flow rate of the liquid in the pipeline can be accurately calculated.2, Product FeaturesThe measurement results are stable and reliable: the number of samples per cycle has been significantly increased to 128, greatly enhancing the stability of the measurement and effectively meeting the flow measurement needs of the vast majority of clean water, sewage, and various chemical liquids. Even in complex detection environments such as electromagnetic interference and pipeline vibration, the interference of these adverse factors on measurement results can be greatly reduced, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement data.Flexible and diverse power supply: The use of electrically isolated DC power supply significantly improves the reliability and anti-interference performance of the host. For special situations where there is no power supply on site, users can also choose a 15W solar panel paired with a 24V/30AH lead-acid battery pack, and this power supply system can achieve continuous power supply for a week on cloudy days, providing convenience for use in places without conventional power sources such as wilderness and remote areas.Rich and compatible communication protocols: The measurement motherboard is equipped with a standard isolated RF-485 interface, which can support both MODBUS and M-BUS standard protocols simultaneously, and is fully compatible with the communication protocol of the original ultrasonic flowmeter and various flowmeter and water meter protocols produced by the company. This enables it to seamlessly integrate with various automation control systems, data acquisition devices, etc., achieving fast data transmission and sharing.Convenient function expansion: The measurement motherboard is equipped with a serial expansion bus interface, and users can choose various function expansion modules for function expansion according to their actual needs. The expandable features are rich and diverse, including 4-20mA current loop output, frequency signal output, large capacity data recording, thermal printer and other functions. For example, in scenarios where traffic data needs to be remotely transmitted to the monitoring center for centralized management, it can be achieved by adding a 4-20mA current loop output module; If you want to record and analyze traffic data in detail over a period of time, you can choose a high-capacity data recording module.Complete heat measurement function: The motherboard has two three wire PT100 platinum resistor input circuits, which can be easily converted into a complete ultrasonic calorimeter by simply connecting the platinum resistor. When the instrument cannot measure normally, the time value will automatically increase.
