Product Description Product DescriptionIntroductionInconel Alloy X-750 is a nickel-chromium austenitic alloy similar to Alloy 600 but made precipitation-hardenable by additions of aluminum and titanium. It has good resistance to corrosion and oxidation along with high tensile and creep-rupture properties at high temperatures to 1300°F (700°C). Extended applications that require high strength at temperatures beyond 1100°F (593°C) may require a solution treatment, with air cooling between intermediate and final aging.Nickel Alloy X-750 displays excellent workability including machinability and welding. It is precipitation hardenable. This material has excellent relaxation resistance and is non-magnetic. It has enhanced elevated temperature strength properties to 1300oF (700°C) and oxidation resistance to 1800oF (983?C). Inconel X-750 is resistant to a wide variety of industrial corrosives under both oxidizing and reducing conditions. This alloy also has excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking in the fully age hardened condition.CompositionWeight %Ni +(Co)CrFeTiAlNb + (Ta)MnSiSCuCCoX-750UNS N0775070 min14-175-92.25-2.750.40-1.00.70-1.21 max0.50 max0.01 max0.50 max0.08 max1 max Grade SpecificationGradeUNSDINENAMSASTMJISInconel X-750N07750 2.4669AMS 5598AMS 5542ASTM B637-CharacteristicHigh strength at temperatures of 1500°F (816°C) after suitable heat treatmentCreep-rupture strength at high temperatures to about 700oC (1290oF)High tensile and creep-rupture propertiesResistance to a wide variety of industrial corrosives under both oxidizing and reducing conditionsExcellent workability including machinability and weldingResistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion crackingPrecipitation hardenableSpecifications RodBarForging StockPlateSheetStripWireASTM B637 AMS 5667AMS 5668AMS 5669AMS 5670AMS 5671AMS 5747ASTM B637 AMS 5667AMS 5668AMS 5669AMS 5670AMS 5671AMS 5747ASTM B637 AMS 5667AMS 5668AMS 5669AMS 5670AMS 5671AMS 5747AMS 5542AMS 5598AMS 5542AMS 5598AMS 5542AMS 5598AMS 5698,AMS 5699 Alloy X750 Mechanical Physical PropertiesProperty20°C200°C400°C427 °C538 °C600°C649°C732°C816°CUltimate Tensile Strength /MPa1503.11351.4744.6688.8-622.6593-6000.2% Yield Strength /MPa979.1737.7365.4340.6-278.5250.3-253.7Elongation %36494747-4647-48Charpy Impact V-notch /J436.6115.2189.8------Coefficient of Thermal Expansion μm/mC---14.2214.9415.1215.4815.6615.84Thermal Conductivity /kcal/(hr.m.°C)--1011.212.112.91515.6615.84Modulus of Elasticity / x105 MPa--1.951.89-1.81.71-1.61 ApplicationsStructural members in hot sections of gas turbines such as discs, thrust reversers, wheels and ductsAircraft structuresRocket enginesNuclear reactorsHeat treat fixturesCryogenic vessels, springs, and fastenersWire formulation with heat temper used in springs at elevated temperaturesExhaust valves of diesel enginesApplications that benefit from an alloy with high creep-rupture strength Surface Treatment Process Main Applications Company Profile Packaging & Shipping FAQ
