Product Description ER 309LCLASSIFICATION:AWS/SFA-5.9: ER309LCHARACTERISTICS: ER309L is an expertly crafted austenitic stainless steel welding wire. The weld metal ingeniously incorporates ferrite, ensuring an unparalleled resistance to cracking. Thanks to its elevated alloy content, it boasts remarkable heat resistance, making it the perfect choice for demanding applications.APPLICATION:ER309L welding wire is meticulously engineered with a composition of 22% Cr and 12% Ni, making it ideal for securely joining ferrite and austenite stainless steel. It performs exceptionally well at service temperatures reaching up to 300°C. This versatile wire is also perfect for use on heat-resistant cast steel, the clad side of 18% Cr-8% Ni clad steel, as well as for joining stainless steel to Cr-Mo steel or carbon steel. SHIELDING GAS: Achieve optimal welding results by utilizing either 100% Ar gas or a mixture of Ar with 2% O2 gas, ensuring a seamless and high-quality welding operation every time.
