Nitrogen sources usually use pressure swing adsorption ( PSA ) or membrane separation techniques to separate nitrogen from other components such as oxygen in the air to obtain high-purity nitrogen. The cold box unit is mainly composed of pre-cooling heat exchanger, separator and main cooling heat exchanger. The function of the separator is to separate the high boiling point working fluid and prevent the working fluid such as lubricating oil from entering the pipeline of the low temperature heat exchanger to block the pipeline. Nitrogen is changed into supercooled liquid through the main cold heat exchanger.
