This kiln stands as the pivotal equipment in the dolomite calcining system, ensuring maximum efficiency and precision. products crafted by this rotary kiln exhibit remarkable stability and uniform quality, boasting high activity and minimal ignition loss, perfectly adhering to the rigorous process requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. This not only enhances the magnesium extraction rate and silicon utilization but also significantly reduces the production costs and consumption of metallic magnesium,. It is, without a doubt, the quintessential equipment for dolomite calcination in the magnesium industry.The comprehensive process of magnesiumsmelting unfolds through meticulous stages: starting from raw material storage to dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, followed by reduction and refining. Initially, the raw dolomite is crushed into suitable sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled via a cooler, and ground into a fine powder by a ball mill. This powder is then pressed into balls by a ball press. The calcined dolomite is subsequently mixed evenly with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a dough, which is placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. In a reduction furnace, the temperature is elevated to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa.
