Product Description Product Description20m3/h Crude Palm Oil Separation 3 Phase Tricanter Decanter Centrifuge The production process of palm oil mainly includes the following steps: Fresh fruit harvesting: Palm fruits are usually harvested manually or mechanically when they are ripe. Ripe palm fruits are orange-red in color and have plump flesh. Killing enzyme activity: After harvesting, the palm fruits need to be treated to kill enzyme activity as soon as possible. Generally, the fruits are put into a steamer and heated with steam or hot water at a temperature of 70-100°C for 1-2 hours. This can inactivate the lipase in the fruits, preventing the oil from being decomposed during storage and transportation. At the same time, it also helps to separate the pulp from the nut in the subsequent process. Debunching: After the enzyme activity is killed, the pulp is separated from the nut of the palm fruit through a mechanical device. A commonly used method is to use a rotary debunching machine, which makes the pulp fall off from the nut by using centrifugal force and friction.Pressing for oil extraction: The palm pulp separated is usually extracted for oil by the pressing method. Generally, a screw press is first used for preliminary pressing to squeeze out most of the oil in the pulp. Then, secondary pressing or solvent extraction is carried out on the pressed cake to improve the oil extraction rate.Filtration and clarification: The palm oil obtained by pressing contains impurities, water and some colloidal substances, and needs to be filtered and clarified.
