The core principle of MVR is to take the secondary steam generated by the evaporator and compress it with a highly efficient steam compressor, transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. This process elevates both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated steam is then channeled back into the evaporator, where it enhances the heating process, driving further evaporation and thus, effectively recycling the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam. This revolutionary approach not only maximizes energy utilization but also significantly boosts the overall efficiency of the system.The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an epitome of engineering excellence, encompassing a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. Its design is not only robust and durable but also remarkably compact, ensuring ease of maintenance. With a focus on performance and reliability, this compressor offers an ideal solution for efficient steam compression, promising seamless integration and long-term operational excellence.Installation Instructions3.3.1 For optimal performance, the compressor base should be seamlessly integrated with the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.Place these wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is perfectly level, secure the wedges by spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points.The manufacture and installation of the wedges should be customized by the user based on the specific conditions, ensuring a smooth and even contact of the inclined plane.The bearing capability of these wedge irons should not exceed a robust 40 Kg/cm2).3.3.2 Achieve impeccable leveling by employing a precision level. The meticulous leveling requirements for the unit are as follows: the axial level is 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level is 0.10/1000mm.3.3.3 Accurate coupling alignment is crucial. Before embarking on alignment, ensure these prerequisites are met:1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety assurance;2) Remove the coupling shield with care;3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section smoothly;4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation surface for any contaminants, dirt, or unwanted attachments.5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts for easy adjustment.6) Prepare an ample supply of flat and clean stainless steel gaskets for secure motor footing. Avoid using excessively long or thin gaskets for adjustments.7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter (0.01mm accuracy) for intricate alignment, procured by the customer.8) Set up a sturdy support bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying figure.9) Mount a dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, positioning the probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub for accurate measurement.10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet diligently to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum deviation should be limited to 0.05mm for the outer circle and 0.03-0.05mm for the coupling end face.11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts and reassessing the runout of the coupling's outer circle and end face for perfection;12) Post motor idling test, proceed with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section.3.3.4 Upon achieving precise 'levelness' and alignment, secure the casing with anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten the bolts for enhanced stability.3.3.5 Protect the high-speed impeller from irreparable damage by preventing any solid or liquid ingress. Maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that comply with the system's steam corrosion grade. Rectify non-compliant pipelines promptly.Implement solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to ensure cleanliness.3.3.6 Facilitate the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, adhering to the PI diagram for relevant pipeline accessories. Securely support pipelines with an independent bracket, ensuring that the compressor body bears no weight burden.3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its associated equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has thoroughly solidified, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal functionality and performance.3.3.8 For seamless integration and maximum efficiency, position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure the wiring is meticulously connected by using threading pipes that are routed underground.
