The core elements and their content ranges are as follows (mass fraction, %):? Carbon (C): 0.27 - 0.34% (medium carbon range, the basis for ensuring strength; too high makes it brittle, too low results in insufficient strength);? Silicon (Si): 0.90 - 1.20% (strengthens ferrite, improves hardenability and oxidation resistance); ? Manganese (Mn): 0.80 - 1.10% (refines grains, enhances hardenability and strength, lowers the brittle transition temperature);? Chromium (Cr): 0.80 - 1.10% (significantly improves hardenability, enhances wear resistance and corrosion resistance);? Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.025% (a hallmark of high-quality steel "A", low sulfur reduces hot brittleness during hot working);? Phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.025% (low phosphorus reduces cold brittleness and improves toughness);? Residual elements: Copper (Cu) ≤ 0.30%, Nickel (Ni) ≤ 0.30%, Molybdenum (Mo) ≤ 0.15%, etc. (strictly limited to avoid affecting performance stability). Features: Through the combined alloying of Cr, Mn, and Si, the hardenability and comprehensive mechanical properties of the steel are significantly improved, while low sulfur and phosphorus ensure good cold and hot workability.Physical properties mainly refer to the characteristics exhibited by materials without chemical changes. The typical physical properties of 30CrMnSiA are as follows (at room temperature, without heat treatment or annealing):? Density (ρ): approximately 7.85 g/cm3 (close to that of ordinary carbon steel, as the content of alloy elements is low, the density change can be ignored);? Melting point (Tm): 1420 - 1460℃ (a small amount of alloy elements lowers the melting point, the range is affected by component fluctuations);? Thermal conductivity (λ): approximately 40 - 45 W/(m·K) (lower than pure iron, as alloy elements increase lattice distortion, hindering heat conduction);? Specific heat capacity (c): approximately 0.46 kJ/(kg·K) (at room temperature, it is close to that of iron-based alloys); ? Linear expansion coefficient (α): 11.5 - 12.5 × 10(-6)/℃ (increases slightly with temperature increase within the range of 20 - 100℃);? Resistivity (ρ): approximately 0.12 - 0.14 μΩ·m (higher than pure iron, as alloy elements increase electron scattering);? Magnetism: ferromagnetic material (at room temperature, it is ferrite + pearlite structure, with magnetism). Features: Physical properties are less affected by heat treatment and are mainly determined by chemical composition.
