Based upon this fact, each of 2Nos crimping wheels has a cluster of teeth and a flat area which corresponds to the long straight section of the screen cloth. The two wheels are identical in size and shape. Any combination of slotted opening size and wire diameter that are not shown herein can be custom made upon request, provided that the combination is technically feasible.Long-Slot Single-Shoot Mesh Screens Long-Slot Triple-Shoot Mesh Screens Technical Info on Hook Strips At Tec-Sieve, our crimped wire screen cloth panels can be edge hooked by either plain wire bending or metal sheathing and bending in response to different specifications of screen panels. In terms of the metal sheathing and bending process, a choice of sheathing materials is available for your different applications. For example, galvanized steel is the most commonly used metal in the mining and aggregate industry; copper is ideal for heated screen decks; and stainless steel is very suitable for wet and/or food processing applications. Also, rubber inserts are available for fine meshes. TSS-2Metal Sheathed Hooked EdgeMetal Sheathed Hooked Edge is standard for screens of up to 10mm wire diameter. Our metal sheathing thickness is 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm or other values available upon request. Sheathed hooked edges are designed to increase strength and prevent the mesh pulling out of the hooks. In fact, our factory has fabrication capabilities to form a diverse range of hook strips.
