Product Description VS speed sensor user's manual I.Overview:The VS speed sensors produced by our company include three series:GVS series Hall type(internal and external magnet), MEVS series magnetoelectric type,.and MRVS magentoresistive gear speed sensors. The detection speed covers the entire speed range of 0-150,000 rpm. GVS series gear speed sneosr are developed based on the principle that advanced magnetic hall elements re sensitive to changes in magnetic fields. The company has speed sensors taht can detect the speed of ferromagnetic gears or multi-pole magnets, as well as dual-channel speed sensors that can test the speed and direction of two channels isolated from each other. They are stable and reliable,have reliable signal ouput for high frequency and zero speed, do not lose step, have high detection accuracy, are small in size, and are easy to install and use.MEVS magnetoelectric speed sensor does not require power supply. The change in magnetic gap caused by the rotation of the speed measuring gear generates an induced electromotive force in the probe coil. The amplitude is related to the speed. The higher the speed, the higher the ouput voltage. The ouput frequency is proportional to the speed. The coil adopts a special structure with enhanced anti-interference ability,which is widely used by users. The magnetoresistive (MRVS) gear sensor is developed based on the principle that advanced magnetoresistive elements are sensitive to changes in magnetic in magnetic fields. When the position(teeth, slots) of the gear made of magnetic conductive material rotates, the MR magnetoresistive sensing element with a magnet(generating a magnetic field) can easily sense the change in the gear position to detect the speed. It is used for high-speed gear speed detection, such as PCB high-speed punching machine and computer flat knitting machine detection and control. II. Selection of speed sensor The specific type of sensor to be selected depends on the requirements of speed measurement. For example: whether low-speed messurement needs to detect zero speed, the maximum speed of high-speed measurement, and the device of speed generation. There are several types of speed generation devices:standard gears, using standard involute gears(M1~5) as speed generation signals, opening a keyway on the shaft, opening holes on the shaft, opening convex keys on the shaft, and other speed generation signal devices.The speed range of the magnetoelectric sensor test is further increased. When the speed is further increased, the magnetic circuit loss increases and the output potential has reached stauration. When the speed exceeds the limit, the magnetic circuit loss increases and the potential drops sharply. MEVS magnetoelectricity speed sensor. The magnetoelectric speed sensor adopts a permanent magnet structure,does not require power supply, has a simple structure, and has good reliablity, so it has been widely used. The magnetoelectric speed sensor is suitable for measuring speeds from above (60RPM) to medium speeds. Also it has very low requirements for the test object rotating shaft speed generator,test object gear modulus can be very small.The object to be measured can also be a very small hole, a small convex keyh. or a small groove. Select the probe accordinig to the hole and convex key, and use probes of φ2.2mm,φ3mm,φ5 mm,φ8 mm.The GVS-M Hall Speed Sensor senses magnets. When magnets are embedded in the measured object, as the measured object rotates, the sensor ouputs a pulse signal related to the rotation frequency, achieving the purpose of speed measurement or displacement detection. Due to its easy installation and good versatility, it has been widely used in various fields. The speed measurement is 0-10Khz. The signal amplitude output by the sensor is relatively high(in the entire range of low speed and high speed).Output waveformThe figure below is the output waveform of the speed sensor when detecting a gear or rack. The high level is greater than the power supply voltage(1V), and the low level is less than 1V. The high and low levels of the ouput correspond to the position of the gear or rack,the high level corresponds to the tooth top, and the low level corresponds to the tooth valley,the dual-channel type outputs dual-channel waveforms, the two phases differ by 90 degrees, and which one comes first and which one comes later is determined by the movement direction of the gear and rack.
