Product Description Traps must be able to "recognize" steam and condensed water in order to block steam and drain water. The "identification" of steam and condensate is based on three principles: density difference, temperature difference and phase transition. Three types of traps are manufactured according to three principles: mechanical, thermostatic, and thermodynamic.1. Mechanical traps, also known as float traps, use the density difference between condensate and steam to change the level of condensate to make the float (spherical barrel) lift up and down to drive the valve disc to open or close, so as to prevent steam and drain. Purpose. The excessive cooling of the mechanical trap is small, and it is not affected by the working pressure and temperature changes. Water is discharged immediately, and there is no water in the heating equipment, so that the heating equipment can achieve the best heat exchange efficiency. Machine city type steam traps include free float type, lever float type, floating bucket type, inverted bucket type, etc.;2. It uses the temperature difference between steam and condensed water to cause the deformation or expansion of the temperature sensing element to drive the valve core to open and close the valve. The degree of subcooling of the thermostatic trap is relatively large, generally 15 degrees to 40 degrees. It can utilize part of the sensible heat in the condensed water. There is always high temperature condensed water in front of the valve, no steam leakage, and the energy saving effect is remarkable. . Thermostatic traps are available in bellows type, vapor pressure type or balanced pressure type, bimetallic disc type, and liquid expansion type.3. The thermodynamic steam trap is based on the principle of phase change, and depends on the different thermodynamic principles of the flow rate and volume change of steam and condensed water when passing through, so that different pressure differences are generated up and down the valve to drive the valve plate to open and close the gate. Because the working power of the thermodynamic trap comes from steam, the steam waste is large.
