Specifically, potato chip bags often use a combination of materials such as:1. Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP): This material provides strength, stiffness, and excellent printability, making it ideal for the outer layer of the bag.2. Metallized Polyester (MetPET): Metallized polyester film adds a metallic layer to provide a barrier against moisture, oxygen, and light, helping to maintain the freshness and crispiness of the chips.3. Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE): LDPE is often used as an inner layer to provide heat sealability, moisture resistance, and protection against grease and oil migration from the chips.4.
