Product DescriptionHeat Cycle High Current AC Test SystemsDescriptionHeat cycle high current test systems are mainly designed for testing the thermal stability of MV HV cables, generator stators, switching cells, etc. This system especially conducts the test of cable samples through performing inductive heating in accordance with applicable international standards(IEC, IEEE, etc). Therefore, it is designed as a shorted circuit. The high current test system measures the temperature of the cable samples at various points, in addition to the current. As a special feature, the temperature that it should reach can be specified and the amount of the current can be automatically calculated. The test system can be adapted to the specific requirements of each situation based on the exact test specifications. For example, when performing a type test on medium and high voltage cables, it is necessary to subject cable samples to both high current and high voltage according to IEC 60840, and IEC 62067, which is made possible by combining a high current system with a high voltage test system.ApplicationHeat Cycling Test System is designed based on the testing theory of conductor induced current method and is mainly used for delivery test, type test and pre-qualification test of power cable and related accessories. The heating current is up to 8000A. We use special thermocouple to test the temperature of the test object. We can test the temperature of outer sheath, metal shielding layer and conductor of the cable and transmit the temperature signal to control & measuring system via optical fiber. Features1. Using test loop as the secondary winding of high current transformer for inductive heating, heating current up to 10000A.2. The feed through transformer uses the design of iron core, one side of which can be open at 45°for the convenience of installation.3. The system uses LV reactive compensation device to decrease the capacity of power supply and saved the energy.4. It has hardware and software protection to ensure the stability, reliability and safety of the long time and combined test for test object.5. It uses optical fiber for communication, avoiding damage from over voltage on control system.
