This project adopts a curved plate wire mesh wet dust removal scheme.Slag Quenching Dust RemovalIn the slag processing workshop of Shandong Xiwang Special Steel Co., Ltd., there are a total of five hot slag quenching pits used for handling high-temperature furnace slag produced during steelmaking. The slag quenching process involves covering and spraying a large amount of water onto the hot slag, allowing the high-temperature slag to exchange heat with and undergo chemical reactions with water under the cover in the pit. This process causes physical and chemical reactions that lead to the fragmentation and differentiation of slag chunks under the combined effects of physical thermal stress and chemical reactions. Additionally, it generates a significant amount of steam and fine dust particles entrained with slag explosions.These dust-laden vapors exit into the atmosphere through natural vents at the top of the pit walls and chimneys, causing certain pollution to the local atmospheric environment.
