Attach nozzle to cartridge and cut it slantwise (opening at least ? 5 mm).Apply adhesive evenly in dots or lines every 20-40 cm, depending on weight of material. Always apply adhesive in corners and along edges. Join parts immediately with a sliding movement and press or tap firmly. Adjustments can still be made. In case of materials under tension or two non-porous materials, apply the 'Power Bonding Method': fix material, press and pull off immediately. Let dry for 5 minutes, fix in the same place and press or tap firmly. Adjustments cannot be made. If necessary, secure or support heavy materials.SURFACE PREPARATIONClean all grease, dirty, water, clunky sealant from surface, accessories and protective coatings and any pollutant left inside joints and sunken parts. For best results wipe all surfaces with GNS cleaner, methylated spirits, use a lint free cloth, then wipe again with a dry lint free cloth. Detergent or soap water treatments are not recommended.COMPATIBILITY TESTINGIncompatibility of glazing materials can lead to sealant discoloration and/ or loss of adhesion. To help protect against these problems and to ensure compatibility, GNS will also test and provide information on the compatibility of accessory materials (gaskets, spacers, etc.) and other GNS silicone sealants.CautionUncured silicone can irritate eyes and skin. If contact is made with eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice. Use in well ventilated area and keep out of reach for children.LIMITATIONS Not recommended for use on structural application. Do not use in the manufacture of Insulated Glass (IG) Units. Do not use when substrate temperature is above 50oC or surfaces that are plasticizers, oily, greasy, dusty or dirty.Do not use for painted surfaces, otherwise may cause seal failure as the paint cracking or paint stripping.Do not use for confined space or surfaces that require post finishes or paintings. Do not clean or treat the sealant with materials, solvents or cleaning agents that may affect or discolor the sealant, particularly during sealant cure.Not for fireproofing seal system. Not for frost-laden or wet surfaces. Not intended for food-contact applications.
