A series of gear speed changes increase the number of rotations of the mainspring when it is relaxed. There is a device on the hairspring to adjust the length of the hairspring to adjust the frequency of the escape claw's swing to ensure that the gear rotates at the set speed, and the tightened mainspring will not be loosened all at once, nor will it be affected by the tightness of the mainspring and cause the speed to change.
