Product Description Wireless remote transmission ultrasonic gas meter (hereinafter referred to as "gas meter") is a pure electronic intelligent gas meter composed of an ultrasonic gas measuring base meter and an electronic controller. It is mainly used for automatic measurement and billing control of natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, biogas, and other gases with working pressures ranging from 0.5 to 20 kPa. This product complies with the GB/T 39841-2021 standard.The gas meter complies with the standards GB3836.1-2010 "Explosive Atmospheres - Part 1: Equipment General Requirements" and GB3836.4-2010 "Explosive Atmospheres - Part 4: Equipment Protected by Intrinsic Safety 'i'". Its explosion-proof marking is: EXib BT3 Gb. It has been tested and certified by the National Explosion-proof Electrical Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, and it is suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 with explosive gas mixtures of Class II A-II B, and T1-T3 temperature classification. The Ultrasonic Timeof-Flight Principle relies on the proportional relationship between the time difference of ultrasonic waves traveling in the forward and reverse directions through the gas medium and the average gas velocity. By calculating the relationship between the time difference of ultrasonic wave propagation and the propagation distance, the gas flow velocity can be determined. The gas flow rate is obtained by multiplying the flow velocity by the cross-sectional area of the channel in the gas meter pipeline.A prepaid function accessory device called an electric valve is installed on the base meter. When the gas meter is in operation, corresponding communication signals are sent to the controller, which displays the gas measurement on the LCD electronic counter. When the gas consumption reaches (or is about to reach) the preset remaining amount, the controller will close the electric valve and display a prompt message on the LCD. After purchasing gas by recharge, users can operate the gas meter's keypad to open the electric valve and resume gas supply for continued usage.
