Product Description JEPT Reliable AFD5 Vortex Flow Meter for Efficient Liquid Flow MeasurementThe AFD5 series is a water flow sensor based on the Karman vortexprinciple.Under certain conditions, when a fluid with a certain volume flowflows around the spoiler, two linear vortices with opposite rotation direction and regular arrangement will periodically form on both sides of thespoiler column, forming Karman vortex street. Sensors measure the flow ofliquid through the pipe by sensing how fast or slow the vortex is flowingthrough the internal chip.
