It has the characteristic of multilayer construction, like perforated base pipe, drainage layer, filtering layer and protective shroud. The perforated base pipe can be API Casing J55 K55 N80 L80 P110 and Stainless Steel 304 304L 316L. All the components can be with stainless steel materials. The nos of drainage layer and filtering layer are decided by the filtering requirement and cost evaluation. The filtration effect depends on the filtering layer especially of the metal mesh size. The outer protective shroud can be with bridge slot or round holes, which show different flow area.
