Product Description Product DescriptionStandard & ProductAPI 5L Compliance:Meets American Petroleum Institute (API) Specification 5L for pipeline steel, covering grades from PS1 (basic) to PS2 (high-performance).Spiral Welded Pipe Piles:Manufactured by helically winding steel plates and welding the spiral seam, ideal for large outer diameter (OD) pipelines (24"-120", 609.6-3048 mm).Key Applications:Onshore/offshore oil & gas transmission, water distribution, and industrial fluid transport. Manufacturing ProcessPlate Preparation:Steel plates (ASTM A572/A516) cut to width, edges beveled for welding.Spiral Winding:Plate fed into a mill, formed into a helix around a mandrel; welding parameters (current, speed) controlled for seam integrity.Welding Technology:Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) for double-sided seams; optional NDT (UT/RT) for PS2 grades.Post-Weld Treatment:Straightening, cutting to length, and surface coating (fusion-bonded epoxy, 3PE) for corrosion protection.
