Product Description Fwincnc High Precision Laser Cutting Machine Nozzles for CNC Machines stainless steel Product DescriptionThe Principle of Laser NozzlesDuring the laser cutting process, the laser head nozzle collects capacitive signals, which are then transmitted to the signal processor through the ceramic ring. This maintains the laser cutting machine's tracking of the distance between the laser head and the workpiece, guiding the assist gas to smoothly pass through the cut workpiece, accelerating the cutting speed, and removing molten slag to protect the internal lenses of the laser head. Both the focused laser beam and the high-pressure gas are emitted from the laser head nozzle.The Role of Laser Nozzle Adjusting Airflow Direction and Pressure: The internal shape of the laser head nozzle adjusts the direction and pressure of the high-pressure airflow, maintaining the pressure between the workpiece and the nozzle.Protecting the Laser Head: The nozzle prevents molten workpiece material from splashing back into the laser head, thereby protecting the internal lenses of the laser head.Providing Capacitive Signals: The nozzle supplies capacitive signals to the height adjustment system, ensuring the stable operation of the height adjustment system. Laser Nozzle TypesNozzles are generally categorized into single and double layer types. Single layer nozzles are suitable for fusion cutting, which is used for precision and surface requirement high fine cutting, and nitrogen is commonly used as the assist gas, typically for cutting stainless steel and aluminum alloys . Double layer nozzles are used for oxidation cutting, where the gas flow converges and compresses a second time, significantly enhancing the cutting effect on carbon steel, using oxygen as the assist gas, and are used for carbon steel cutting Laser Nozzle SizeThe diameter of the nozzle determines the shape of the airflow entering the kerf, the area of gas dispersion, and the velocity of the gas flow, which in turn affects the removal of molten material and the stability of the cutting process. The greater the volume and speed of the airflow entering the kerf, and the more appropriate the position of the workpiece in the airflow, the stronger the ability to jettison molten material. Users select the nozzle size based on the power of the laser used and the thickness of the metal plate being cut. In theory, the thicker the plate, the larger the nozzle should be used, and the higher the pressure set by the proportional valve, the greater the flow rate, ensuring the pressure to achieve a normal cross-sectional cutting effect.
