The normal operating temperature in an oxidizing atmosphere can reach 1450℃, and the continuous use can reach 2000 hours. Silicon carbon rods have high operating temperatures and are characterized by high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, fast heating, long life, small high-temperature deformation, easy installation and maintenance, and good chemical stability.Matching with the automatic electric control system, it can obtain accurate constant temperature, and can automatically adjust the temperature according to the curve according to the needs of the production process. Using silicon carbon rods for heating is convenient, safe and reliable. Silicon carbon rods are hard and brittle, and are easily broken by severe vibration and impact. Therefore, be extra careful when transporting, and handle with care.2. The length of the heating part of the silicon carbon rod should be equal to the width of the furnace. If the heating part extends into the furnace wall, it is easy to burn the furnace wall.3. The length of the cold end of the silicon carbon rod should be equal to the thickness of the furnace wall plus the length of the cold end extending out of the furnace wall. Generally, the cold end extends for 50 to 150 mm to cool the cold end and connect the fixture.4. The inner diameter of the furnace through which the silicon carbon rod is inserted should be 1.4 to 1.6 times the outer diameter of the cold end. If the furnace hole is too small or the filling in the hole is too tight, the silicon carbon rod will be hindered from freely expanding and contracting at high temperature, resulting in broken rods. During installation, the silicon carbon rod should be able to rotate 360 degrees freely.5. The distance between the silicon carbon rod and the heated object and the furnace wall should be greater than or equal to 3 times the diameter of the heating part. The center distance between silicon carbon rods should not be less than 4 times the diameter of their heating parts.6. The cold end of the silicon carbon rod is connected to the main circuit with aluminum braid or aluminum foil. The clamp of the cold end should be clamped tightly.7. New furnaces or electric furnaces that have not been used for a long time should be dried before use. Old rods or other heat sources should be used for drying.8. Silicon carbon rods should be kept away from moisture when stored.
