Product Description Product DescriptionThe full name of PC plastic is Polycarbonate, abbreviated as PC, which is an amorphous thermoplastic. It is a type of polymer compound containing carbonate structure in the molecular chain and a general term for various materials prepared based on it. PC is a non crystalline engineering material with particularly good impact strength, thermal stability, glossiness, antibacterial properties, flame retardancy, and pollution resistance. The notch impact strength of PC is very high, and the shrinkage rate is very low, ranging from 0.1% to 0.2% per strand. PC has good mechanical properties, but poor flow characteristics, making the injection molding process of this material more difficult. Pure polycarbonate resin is an amorphous, odorless, odorless, non-toxic, transparent thermoplastic polymer with a molecular weight generally ranging from 20000 to 70000. The relative density is 118 to 120, and the glass transition temperature is 140 to 150 oC. The melting range is 220 to 230 oC. PC has a certain degree of chemical corrosion resistance and excellent oil resistance. Due to the amorphous nature of polycarbonate, the molecular stacking is not dense enough. Polycarbonate is easy to absorb water, and the high temperature process of molding can also cause hydrolysis and degradation of polycarbonate, seriously affecting the appearance quality and physical and mechanical properties of products. Therefore, controlling the moisture content is one of the keys to ensuring product quality. When selecting PC materials of what quality, the final expectations of the product should be taken as the benchmark.
