In peening applications, our steel shot also imparts remarkable compressive strength to torque or load-bearing metal parts, including crankshafts, engine turbine blades, and heavy-duty springs. Applications: Utilizing smaller steel shots achieves a finer, more polished finish while larger shots provide aggressive cleaning but result in a rougher texture. Both air-powered and wheel-blast systems are compatible with our steel shot for surface acceleration. Thanks to its superior hardness and density, our steel shot can be recycled up to 3000 times before needing replacement.
