High-speed hot shearing provided by a pair of counter-rotating rotor in the mixer chamber made the material plasticizing from solid to melt.The corresponding torque moves a dynamo-meter out of its zero position . In compliance with the existing standards and test specifications, a typical ' Rheogram ' (torque and temperature vs. time) is recorded for each sample material. We can analyse the structural changes of the material by the rheogram ,which shows the relationship between torque (viscosity) and temperature / time . The inverter drive provides for precise and constant speed for functional units. Further more, a torque measurement is integrated. All important control data( e.g. temperature, pressure, speed, torque ) can be read on the computer . The output torque which reflects the viscosity changes to characterize the melt rheological properties.The Main unit connected with a function unit can measure flow and compounding behaviors, critical processing parameters of temperature, pressure, torque and viscosity of polymers in the laboratory-requiring only small sample volume. That can be used to simulate real production process in the laboratory. Matched well with different die heads ,many functional simulation test in laboratory environment with Capillary Die,Pipe Die,Flat Die,Coating Wire Die and Other auxiliary equipments .The screw with different diameter, length-diameter radio and compress ratio can be chosen depending on the tested materials. PrincipleSimulate Production Realistically on a Laboratory Scale ,single screw measuring extruder serves for testing the extrudability of polymers and for studying thesis occurring in research and development as well as in practical application. The single screw extruder system allows a complete instrumentation of the extruders for the control and development of raw material. Different screws, die heads, and downstream equipment fulfill all kinds of extrusion tasks. ApplicationIn the measuring extruder , the sample material is plastified under practice-oriented conditions and extruded through the die head. All measuring values such as torque, melt temperature, melt pressure are recorded continuously and represented in the form of tables and diagrams parallel to the current test.
