Install the sensor on a horizontal, vertical, or inclined pipe (with liquid flowing from bottom to top) that matches the sensor's diameter. Ensure a straight pipe length of 15-20D upstream and 5-10D downstream of the sensor.2.The pipe near the liquid sensor should always be filled with the liquid being measured.3. Avoid installing the sensor on pipes that experience strong mechanical vibrations.4. Maintain consistency between the sensor diameter and the inner diameter of the straight pipe section. If they differ, use a pipe with a slightly larger diameter (≤3% error and not exceeding 5mm). Avoid areas with strong electromagnetic interference, restricted space, or challenging maintenance conditions..5. Horizontal pipeline installation is most common. For gas flow with some liquid, install the sensor at the pipeline's higher point. For liquid flow with some gas, install at the pipeline's lower point.6. For vertical pipelines: When measuring gas flow, install the sensor on a vertical pipeline with no flow direction restriction. If gas contains some liquid, ensure flow from bottom to top. For liquid flow, ensure flow from bottom to top to reduce probe weight.7. Side-mounting sensors on horizontal pipelines is ideal for measuring superheated steam, saturated steam, and low-temperature liquids. It minimizes temperature impact on the amplifier and is preferred if conditions allow.8.Inverted installation on horizontal pipelines is generally discouraged. It is unsuitable for general gases or superheated steam but can measure saturated steam and high-temperature liquids, especially when frequent cleaning is needed.9. For pipelines with insulation layers measuring high-temperature steam, ensure the insulation does not exceed one-third of the bracket height.10. Choose pressure and temperature measurement points carefully.
