,valve cover,piston ,connect rod ,cylinder head ,transmission oil pan ,all the part for automotive parts and serviceImport all the part piston ,oil pan ,connect rod ,gear ,engine block inside the slice APP What we need from you was the drawing ,it can be the format by step,stp,igs,stl .Then we import the file into the slice app add support at the comfortable place to make sure the part can be print sucess also without affect the apperance The slice app was anycubic or CHITUBOX,Engine Oil pan fitment Reverse engineering1.When you want to increase the capacity of the oil inside the oil pan or oil sump ,we cant check very carefully on the drawing ,even when you assemble all the part inside the engine where the engine install on the car ,you cant see where was the interfere.2.The bolt holes to fitment inspection during the reverse engineering 3.All the R angle as you set for the oil pan ,oil sump4.Even the fitment between engine block and oil pan 5.All the tolerance for 3D print can control within 0.05mm6.All the oil pan blot fit the engine block install surfaceOil pan :SLA 3D print Raw material :ABS plastic resin More fitment checking for tghe bolt holes on the engine block FDM printing service also work out for this project ,but as you can see the plastic wire melt and solid agian the min print nozzle was 0.10mm this was increase the tolerance for the print ,so SLA 3D printing service was the best choiceWe can also saving the cost for 3D print by shelling the whole engine oil pan ,as the thicknees for the whole oil pan was 6mm ,the flange for the install can be shelling also to be 3mm.3D printing service for engine block Maybe you want to reverse engineering for the engine block 1.If you want to see the water clear inside the engine block 2.All the oil passage inside the engine block .3.Also it was a very good choice as engine block model4.You can clear see the piston and connect rod was work out if you want increase the capacity 5.You can see if the increase cylinder diameter was ok to fit for the piston I think it was a very good choice to make a 3D print engine block before we kick off the engine block project ,as you can see the mold cost for casting and machining was very expensive ,it was worth to have it print and check carefully first before freezing the blue print.Water jacket and oil passage inside the engine block The water want to pay the huge mold cost for the plastic injection It was not a bad choice Before you kick off the transmission case cover ,it was not a bad choice for make a 3D print first to check the because we can slice cutting the whole drawing ,such as the engine block we can make it as each layer as 0.05mm and each layer was after the other stick on the previous one .3D printing 3D printing 3D printer to make a sample by aluminum by SLMSince there was a fiting to check between engine block with the exhaust system ,it was much more better to check the fitment by SLA plastic or resin 3D printing before kick off the casting mold
