Here's how it works:Process Overview:1. Molten Steel Feeding:* Liquid steel from the ladle is poured into a tundish, which ensures a steady flow into the curved mold.2. Curved Mold Solidification:* The arc-type mold (with a radius of R6-12 meters) initiates solidification, forming a thin shell. The mold oscillates to prevent sticking.3. Secondary Cooling & Bending:* The partially solidified strand passes through segmented rollers and water sprays in the curved containment zone. * The strand naturally follows the machine's arc geometry without mechanical bending (reducing stress cracks).4.
