Product Description The Fenton process needs to judge the dosage of reagents and economic feasibility when treating wastewater. The larger the dosage of H202, the higher the COD removal rate of wastewater will be. However, when the dosage of H2O2 increases to a certain level, the COD removal rate will slowly decrease. Because in the Fenton reaction, as the dosage of H2O2 increases, the production of OH· will increase, and the COD removal rate will decrease accordingly. However, when the concentration of H2O2 is too high, hydrogen peroxide will decompose and no hydroxyl radicals will be produced. The dosage of the catalyst is also the same as the dosage of hydrogen peroxide. Generally speaking, increasing the dosage of Fe2+ will increase the COD removal rate of wastewater. When Fe2+ increases to a certain level, the COD removal rate begins to decrease. This is because when the Fe2+ concentration is low, as the Fe2+ concentration increases, the OH· produced by H2O2 will increase; but when the Fe2+ concentration is too high, it will also cause H2O2 to decompose ineffectively and release O2.The functions of Fenton catalyst are as follows:1.
