This remarkable welding wire boasts a high ferrite content, providing extraordinary resistance to cracking. The low carbon level significantly enhances arc stability and elevates corrosion resistance, particularly against intergranular corrosion. The mechanical properties of the weld are exemplary, making it a top choice for demanding applications.APPLICATION : Ideal for MIG, TIG, and SA welding, the ER316L molybdenum grade is engineered for stainless steels like SS 316L and SS 318. Featuring superior pitting corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-rich environments, this wire's molybdenum content plays a pivotal role. The low carbon aspect further fortifies resistance against intergranular attacks. It is a highly recommended solution for high-temperature services, with the capability to withstand conditions up to an impressive 350°C.
