Product Description Horizontal Accumulator Water Pressure Vessel with Replaceable Bladder MembraneProduct DescriptionImportant NotesAThe replacement membrane for most of the conventional 80-100 liter membrane pressure vessels, for use in sanitary cold-/hot water systems, domestic waterworks, solar- and pressure maintenance systems and garden pumps. The membrane is made of EPDM rubber, and therefore suitable for drinking water.Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer Rubber:This EPDM rubber belongs to the group of elastomers. This synthetic material is characterized by resistance to hot air, weathering and ozone. The elastomer shows low gas permeability, good resistance to chemicals as well as up to 100°C very good noise and shock energy absorption qualities. In the low temperature range the butyl rubber remains elastic up to -70°C.It is mainly used for air hoses and inner cores of tyres, bladders, steam hoses and linings for tanks. Further fields of application are foils, membranes, unvulcanized sealants and bands.This EPDM rubber is allowed as chewable mass for chewing gum according to Annex 4 on Additive Admission Regulation. Consequently, the material is harmless for drinking water installations.BReplacement 100L Pressure Vessel for use in sanitary cold-/hot water systems, suitable for nearly all domestic waterworks, solar- and pressure maintenance systems and garden pumps. This pressure vessel will be delivered with included. EPDM membrane and has a 100L capacity. The vessel is designed for a maximum pressure of 10 bar (16/20/25/30/35 Bar Also available,please contact Mr.Tom Lee for details)and will be delivered in a horizontal position. The tank is checked for tightness with up to 5,4 bar water pressure by the producer.It has a 1inch (32,89-33,25mm) pump connector.The pressure vessel has additionally an integrated valve for inflating the space betwen tank and membrane.This vessel series is welded of qualitative steel sheet, according to UNI-EN-standards and is equipped with a heat- and age resistant EPDM-membrane.CAbout the primary pressure in the pressure vessel:The primary pressure should be set approximately 0,1-0,2 bar lower than the switch-on pressure of the pump and has to be checked at regular intervals. Any failure of observance may cause damage on the EPDM-diaphragm of the pressure vessel. A more accurate calculation results from the pump′s switch-on pressure x 0,9. Example: Switch-on pressure on the pressure switch of the domestic waterworks is set to 1,5bar: 1,5bar x 0,9 = 1,3-1,4 barImportant: The vessel′s pressure should only be inflated or deflated when the pressure to the water system has been released before. This adjustment must be made with the vessel isolated from the system, and before filling with water. Air may be vented from, or pumped into, a patent valve which will be found under a black plastic screw-off cover on the shell (sizes up to and including 500 litre) or on a side mounted flange (750 and larger). It will be noted that vessels of 60 litre capacity or larger are manufactured with connections at either end of the vessel shell. The vessel should be mounted so that the system connection is made at the lowest possible point, to facilitate on-site maintenance. The other connection may be fitted either with a air bleed valve, or alternatively with a blanking plug. All pressure vessels should be installed with an isolating valve and drain cock.Periodic MaintenanceThe only maintenance required on this equipment is a periodic check on the air cushion pressure.
