They are then subjected to ultra-low temperatures achieved by liquid nitrogen. The parts are tumbled in a barrel and blasted with polycarbonate media, ensuring optimal deburring.Due to the thinner surface area of burrs/flashes compared to their mass, they freeze rapidly and become brittle. The combined tumbling action and media impact remove burrs efficiently without damaging the original part.Upon completion of the process, parts return to room temperature.
