The sensor should be mounted on a pipeline that is horizontal, vertical, or inclined (with the liquid flowing from bottom to top) and matches the sensor's diameter. Ensure sufficient straight pipe lengths are provided: 15-20D upstream and 5-10D downstream.2.The pipe surrounding the liquid sensor must be completely filled with the liquid to be measured. 3. The sensor must not be installed on pipes experiencing strong mechanical vibrations.4. Consistency is key-the inner diameter of the straight pipe section should match the sensor diameter as closely as possible. If a match isn't feasible, opt for a slightly larger diameter, with an error margin of ≤3% and not exceeding 5mm. Avoid installing the sensor in areas with strong electromagnetic interference, limited space, or difficult maintenance access..5. Horizontal pipeline installation is the preferred method for flow sensors. For gas flow measurement with trace amounts of liquid, position the sensor at a higher point in the pipeline. For liquid flow measurement with trace amounts of gas, place the sensor at a lower point in the pipeline.6. Vertical pipeline sensor installation: For gas flow, the sensor can be placed on a vertical pipeline without flow direction restrictions. If measuring gas with trace liquids, ensure the flow is from bottom to top. For liquid flow, the setup should allow the flow from bottom to top to avoid additional weight on the probe.7. Side-mounting sensors on horizontal pipelines is a viable option regardless of the fluid type. This method is especially beneficial when measuring superheated steam, saturated steam, and low-temperature liquids. Side mounting is preferred where feasible to reduce the temperature impact on the amplifier.8.Inverted sensor installation on horizontal pipelines is generally discouraged. It is unsuitable for general gases or superheated steam but can be used for saturated steam and high-temperature liquids, especially where pipelines require frequent cleaning.9. For sensors installed on pipelines with insulation layers measuring high-temperature steam, ensure the insulation does not exceed one-third of the bracket height. 10.
