They are also used in the recycling of building materials, mining, construction, quarrying, metallurgy, chemicals, power generation, water conservancy, transportation, and other fields. Applicable Materials Jaw crushers can process over 200 types of soft and hard rocks to medium particle sizes, including limestone, granite, quartz, shale, sandstone, basalt, river rock, gold ore, iron ore, coal, gravel, and aggregates. Different final output sizes can meet your diverse needs.Working PrincipleJaw crushers primarily use compression to crush hard materials such as limestone, pebbles, granite, basalt, gold ore, and iron ore. An electric motor drives a belt and pulley, which, via an eccentric shaft, moves the movable jaw up and down. As the movable jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw increases, pushing the movable jaw plate closer to the fixed jaw plate. Simultaneously, the material is subjected to multiple forces, including squeezing, kneading, and crushing. As the movable jaw descends, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw decreases, and the movable jaw plate, acting on the pull rod and spring, separates from the fixed jaw plate. Crushed material is discharged from the lower opening of the crushing chamber.
