The equipment is designed in a simple, two-step process to complete the coupling prior to testing. The equipment uses alignment of the shaft first, followed by V-slot alignment, and then optical performance testing. The instrumentation and equipment for optical performance testing is not included in the Polarization maintaining fiber alignment coupling system.
