These natural rocks are melted at an intense temperature of about 1500°C in a cupola. Once melted, the lava is poured into high-speed spinners, transforming it into fibers. These fibers are then meticulously collected to form the original wool mat, which undergoes pendulum, crimping, and pressing processes.
