Product Description Alloying Titanium alloy is an advanced material enhanced with additional elements based on titanium. It features two homogeneous crystal types: below 882oC, it forms α titanium with a close-packed hexagonal structure, and above 882oC, it transforms into β titanium with a body-centered cubic structure.Alloying elements are divided into three categories based on their influence on phase transition temperatures:1. α-stable elements, which include aluminum, carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen, stabilize the α phase and increase the phase transition temperature. Aluminum, the primary alloying element, significantly enhances alloy strength at various temperatures, reduces specific gravity, and increases elastic modulus.2. β-stable elements, which stabilize the β phase and reduce the phase transition temperature, are categorized into isomorphic and eutectoid types.Isomorphic types include molybdenum, niobium, and vanadium, while eutectoid types consist of chromium, manganese, copper, iron, and silicon.3. Neutral elements, such as zirconium and tin, have minimal impact on phase transition temperatures.Oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and hydrogen are primary impurities in titanium alloys. Oxygen and nitrogen, with high solubility in the α phase, greatly strengthen titanium alloys but reduce plasticity. Typically, oxygen content is kept below 0.15-0.2% and nitrogen below 0.04-0.05%. Hydrogen, which dissolves minimally in the α phase, can form brittle hydrides if excessive. Therefore, hydrogen content is regulated below 0.015%. Hydrogen solubility in titanium is reversible and can be managed via vacuum annealing.ApplicationsIn the shipbuilding industry, titanium plates are prized for their exceptional corrosion resistance, low density, shape memory, and non-magnetic properties. Titanium and its alloys find extensive applications in nuclear submarines, deep-sea submersibles, atomic icebreakers, hydrofoils, hovercraft, minesweepers, propellers, whip antennas, seawater pipes, condensers, heat exchangers, acoustic devices, and fire-fighting equipment. Key titanium alloy types include industrial pure titanium, titanium zirconium alloy, and titanium alloys.(1) All titanium ships. F1 has good practical experience in the manufacture of titanium boats. In the 1990s, all-titanium fishing boats or speedboats were manufactured by Toho Titanium Co., LTD., Nikko Industrial Co., LTD., Fuji Shin Shipyard, and Eteng Shipyard. All-titanium ships boast numerous advantages: they are lightweight, fast, require smaller engines, consume less fuel, emit lower carbon dioxide, need no surface coatings, and have easily cleanable accessories. However, the high material cost, complex processing, and stringent protection requirements pose challenges. Tests reveal excellent speed stability, reduced vibration, and low noise in these vessels.(2) Atomic powered ships. In Russia, titanium alloy has replaced stainless steel in steam engines, heat exchangers, and ship coolers, effectively combating corrosion damage. Titanium steam engines are extensively utilized in Russian atomic icebreaker power plants, with the titanium alloy extending engine life up to tenfold.(3) Propeller. Propeller materials must exhibit high strength, excellent fatigue performance, and resistance to erosion and cavitation in seawater. Titanium alloy fulfills these requirements. The U.S. Navy first utilized a 1,500 mm diameter, four-bladed detachable titanium alloy propeller on a hydrofoil. China developed a hydrofoil speedboat propeller in 1972, and today, various titanium alloy propellers, with diameters ranging from 450-1700mm, are produced. We manufacture fixed titanium alloy propellers with diameters of 1200mm and masses of 130kg. Long-term usage indicates that titanium alloy propeller lifespans exceed copper alloy propellers by over five times.(4) Marine pumps, valves and pipes. Copper and stainless steel marine pumps, valves, and pipes typically have a service life of only 2-5 years due to harsh working conditions. However, titanium alloy replacements exhibit superior performance, ideal for large-flow mobile seawater pipelines. The Russian ship pipeline life standard outlines three durations: the first docking maintenance period is 8-9 years; service life is at least 15 years; and reliable operation is expected for 25-30 years across all vessel types. Our AdvantagesQualitative Materials:We utilize premium, top-grade raw materials to ensure our products deliver superior strength, resilience, and longevity.Advanced Technology:Our manufacturing processes incorporate cutting-edge technologies, including advanced smelting, continuous casting, and rolling techniques.Customized Service:We offer bespoke design and manufacturing services to meet the unique needs and requirements of our customers.FAQ Q1: Why choose your company?A: With over 16 years of unparalleled industry expertise and the advantage of having our own state-of-the-art factory, we deliver exceptional services that are further enhanced by our professional and dedicated sales team.Q2: What are your terms of payment?A: We require a 30% T/T deposit upfront, with the remaining 70% due before delivery.Q3: What are your delivery terms?A: Our terms include FOB, CFR, CIF, and EXW.Q4: What is your delivery time?A: Our standard lead time ranges from 7 to 15 days after receiving the deposit.Q5: Can you provide samples?A: Yes, we offer complimentary samples if they are available in stock.
