Traveling in an exponential spiral, the material flows over the drying tray surface. From the small drying tray, materials transition to the large drying tray below, from the outer edge to the inner. This alternating arrangement ensures materials cascade seamlessly through each layer of the dryer.The hollow drying plate, filled with a heating medium such as saturated steam, hot water, thermal oil, or high-temperature molten salt, efficiently transfers heat. Entering at one end, the medium exits at the other, while dried materials transition from the final drying layer to the aggregate tray. Here, rake blades direct them to the discharge port. Moisture is evacuated via the top dehumidification port, with vacuum disc dryers employing a vacuum port. The dry output is ready for immediate packaging.
