Pollutant Removal: - Absorption: Soluble gases (e.g., SO2, HCl, NH3) dissolve into the liquid. - Particle Capture: Dust/particulates collide with droplets and are trapped. - Chemical Reaction (if applicable): Reagents (e.g., NaOH, lime slurry) neutralize acidic/basic pollutants. 4. Demisting: Cleaned gas passes through a demister to remove residual moisture. 5.
