It can override the CO2 control and shut off the CO2 generator by turning off the output power during the night. Conversely, if the Photo-Cell detects light and the CO2 level is low, the device will start the CO2 generator by turning on output power.Output Control: Output power is on when CO2 concentration is over Set Center+(1/2) Set zone, and off when CO2 concentration is below Set Center-(1/2) Set zone. Using advanced hysteresis logic, when CO2 levels get too low, power is supplied to a CO2 generator or regulator via the built-in 100 - 240 VAC 5A piggyback power cord. When the target level is reached, the power is turned off. In addition, the CO2 Monitor & Controller has a built-in photo sensor that overrides the CO2 control and shuts off the CO2 when it senses darkness.Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, odorless gas.
