Some equipment requires pre-crushing the materials to a "grindable particle size" (usually < 20mm) using a pre-mill first.2,Grinding: The core grinding components (e.g., grinding rollers, grinding rings, grinding media, high-speed rotors) in the grinding chamber operate at high speed driven by a motor. Materials are subjected to intense impact, extrusion, or shearing, gradually breaking into fine powders.For example: Raymond ultrafine mills achieve grinding through "grinding rollers rolling against grinding rings"; jet mills realize crushing by "high-speed airflows driving material particles to collide with each other".3,Classification: The ground powder enters the ultrafine classifier (a core supporting component) along with the airflow. The high-speed rotating impeller inside the classifier forms an "airflow classification field". Ultrafine powders that meet the fineness requirements pass through the impeller gaps and enter the collection system, while unqualified coarse powders are thrown back into the grinding chamber for re-grinding.4,Collection and Discharge: Qualified ultrafine powders are separated and collected by equipment such as cyclone collectors and pulse dust collectors, eventually forming finished products.
