Product DescriptionProduct DescriptionWhat is Cutter Suction Dredger with Submersible Pump?Type: The dredger is made of marine steel construction, self-propelled or non self-propelled with dismountable type.Structure: The dredger is consisted with three pontoons, one main pontoon (engine room with diesel engines, dredging pump, generator and hydraulic system etc.), and two side pontoons.Size: All parts are dimensioned to allow the dredger to be transported by truck.Connection: The dredger is equipped with a rapid connection-disconnection system for the pontoons, the deck is fastened with bolts, and the front and rear bottoms of the hull are reinforced with hooks.Power: The dredger is powered by one main diesel engine and one auxiliary engine, and the main diesel engine drives the dredging pump and the auxiliary engine drives hydraulic system.Working principle: The main engine provides power, then the gear box will transit it to the sand pump, the former is driven to rotate and create vacuum in suction pipe. In this way, the mixture composed of mud, sand and water by the cutter head is sucked into the sand pump through the inlet pipeline, and then discharged by the pump to the appointed place through outlet pipeline which is connected to the outlet of the sand pump.Remarkable characteristic: Except standard cutter suction dredger characteristics, the most remarkable characteristic for this dredger is with Dual-dredge pumps. Both of them are same model centrifugal pumps. The 1st pump is installed on the cutter ladder, the 2nd pump is installed inside the main pontoon. The sand mixture goes into the 1st pump from the suction pipe, then pumped into the 2nd pump by the middle pipe, and finally discharged to floating pipelines by 2nd pump. The sand mixture goes into the submersible pump from the suction pipe, then pumped into the dredging pump by the middle pipe, and finally discharged to floating pipelines by 2nd pump. Controlling systemWe use PLC Siemens controlling system. The dredger through the PLC system to control the hydraulic transmission device, including cutter, winch, hydraulic cylinder etc.Operation console is set in the operation room, and the operation of all equipments of the dredger can be remotely controlled in the operation room. The function of the anchor boom system during the construction process is to move the bolt forward to meet the requirements of cutter lateral movement excavation. The operation is convenient and the anchoring speed is fast.Traditionally, dredgers need to constantly change the location of the cutter suction during operations in order to fully clean the target area. With the trolley system, by reducing the time for replacing piles, the dredger equipped with the trolley system can complete more workload in the same time.
