Product Description Loop reactorLoop reactor is a form of high-efficiency reactor. The main components include raw material storage tanks, feed pumps, Venturi jet structures, reactors, circulation pumps, heat exchangers, and product recovery tanks. The circulation loop includes a Venturi injection mechanism, a reactor, a circulation pump, and a heat exchanger.(1) The reaction speed of the loop reactor is faster. The mixing structure of the loop reactor adopts a Venturi jet structure, which forms bubbles with smaller volume and higher specific surface area compared to the general kettle stirring structure, thereby improving the mass transfer coefficient and shortening the reaction time;(2) The sealing of loop reactors is simpler and more reliable. Due to the use of mechanical seals, reaction vessels are prone to leakage issues, which cannot be ignored as a safety hazard for high-risk and high-pressure reactions; The loop reactor adopts a static sealing structure, which is simpler and more reliable in terms of sealing, and the maximum pressure can reach 10MPa;(3) The temperature control of the loop reactor is better. For the control of reaction temperature, general reaction vessels can only be achieved through jackets or built-in coils. The heat transfer area of the jacket is limited and can only contact the outer material. Installing coils inside the reaction vessel not only makes the structure more complex, but also has unpredictable effects on the flow field inside the reaction vessel; The loop reactor removes the reaction heat through an external tubular heat exchanger, ensuring sufficient heat transfer area and solving the heat transfer problem during the amplification process of the reactor.(4) Loop reactors are easier to scale up. The problem of scaling up traditional kettle reactors mainly lies in two aspects: on the one hand, the mixing effect after scaling up cannot be effectively guaranteed; On the other hand, after amplification, the heat transfer effect is significantly weakened due to structural limitations; The loop reactor separates the two to solve the problem. As long as the enlarged Venturi structure is designed reasonably, it can still maintain a good gas-liquid mixing effect. In terms of heat transfer, it can be solved by selecting a suitable tubular heat exchanger, which is not limited by the reactor structure or size.Loop reactors, as a type of gas-liquid (gas-liquid solid) reactor, have the advantages of sufficient gas-liquid contact, simple and reliable sealing, accurate temperature control, and small amplification effect. Therefore, many types of reactions that originally used mechanical stirring reactors, such as hydrogenation, chlorination, oxidation, alkoxylation, etc., can be carried out through loop reactors. Loop reactors enhance the efficiency of reactions and are suitable for the vast majority of gas-liquid mass and heat transfer reactions.
